ABOUT ME

I make small things – was created out of my love for model making, sculpting, and all things miniature. Combining my love for Everton with my skills in model making I created the custom Goodison Park turnstile models. I like to create models of places that hold sentimental or historical value. I focus on the things that usually go unnoticed, and it’s the tiny details that help make the model as realistic as possible.

I also take custom commissions for models of any other places that are special to you. Please enquire for details.

Do you sell/ship Internationally?
Please contact me at imakesmallthings@gmail.com for international shipping enquiries.

How do you make your models?
When starting on a new commission piece I spend many hours researching, photographing, sketching, and creating templates for the build. From there I develop a plan using scale to make sure everything is in proportion.

Once I have a solid idea of the plan and build, I begin to mock things up and start to plan the structural elements for what will make up the essential 3D parts of the building.
The fun part is the sculpting, texturing and adding detailing. This is what brings the model to life, my aim with every build is to get it as realistic as possible.

What are the materials you use to create your models?
The main materials I use include a variety cards, papers, foam, plastics, and lightweight woods. Along with that I use a lot of repurposed materials. (if it does the job I’ll use it)
